PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS IN LAFAYETTE, LOUISIANA THAT BRING UNDERSTANDING -NOT LABELS
At KDH Counseling, psychological evaluations provide a deeper understanding of how a person thinks, learns, processes information, and experiences the world. These evaluations are designed to answer important questions, guide meaningful support, and reduce confusion — not to place people into rigid categories.
Our psychologist conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for adults, with a particular focus on ADHD and Autism.
WHAT IS A PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION?
A psychological evaluation is a structured, evidence-based process that integrates clinical interviews, standardized testing, behavioral observations, and detailed analysis. Rather than focusing on a single symptom, evaluations look at the full picture - including cognitive strengths, emotional functioning, attention, executive skills, sensory processing, and social communication.
The goal is to provide clarity, validation, and practical recommendations that can be used in daily life, education, work, and therapeutic settings.
TYPES OF PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS WE OFFER FOR ADULT ADHD AND ADULT AUTISM:
Not every concern requires the same level of assessment. We offer several evaluation options depending on the questions you’re hoping to answer, the depth of insight needed, and how results will be used.
