How Customer Consent is obtained at KDH Counseling
KDH Counseling will collect consent on our website where customers will opt-in to messaging through email.
In our phone answering system we have messages: "Thank you for contacting KDH Counseling, we look forward to assisting you. We will get back to you as soon as possible. Reply STOP to opt-out, reply HELP for more information." Texting is used for follow-ups on recent email or phone conversations, scheduling, and for billing questions. While typically initiated by you the customer, KDH staff may initiate for circumstantial reasons if given permission by the customer.
The opt-in information is stored in our customer management system. Sometimes, we may collect consent during a phone call, during our onboarding process through intake paperwork. Opt-in consent can be given verbally over the phone or in person. Consent and the number will be obtained virtually. Support representatives will ask the customer if they would like to opt in for updates. Their verbiage includes the following script. “Would you like to receive text messages concerning appointment times, paperwork, or billing question through text messaging? Frequency may vary and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt-out or call the support line 337-895-0300 for additional information.
